“Somewhere” trailer

I am looking forward to director Sofia Coppola’s upcoming film, Somewhere, which is set to be released in late December. It’s been four years since her last film, Marie Antoinette, and while I just didn’t care for its story, it was visually exceptional. Lost in Translation is also among one of my favorite films, and judging from the trailer, Somewhere could join the list. It’s also already garnered a lot of Oscars buzz. As if the cast, featuring Benicio Del Toro and Elle Fanning, wasn’t enough, the music for the film is scored by the French band, Phoenix. This isn’t really very surprising seeing as Coppola and Phoenix frontman Thomas Mars have been together for at least the last four years or so, but regardless, Phoenix is my favorite band and their latest album “Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix” is one of my all-time favorites.
